2013+
Pete lands his dream job in the Communications team at The FA and spends over three years shaping and implementing the PR strategy for the National Football Centre at St. George’s Park. Emma moves to IMG as Director of Marketing & Communications, a more commercially focused role managing a large team and an even bigger budget. She is then headhunted by the UFC and joins the team as Director of Communications for EMEA, an incredibly challenging and exciting role.

2016
Pete moves to Sunderland AFC where he relishes the buzz and dynamic pace of the Premier League Football Communications landscape, working day in day out with the club’s players and manager. Emma leaves London and moves to York, going freelance and quickly achieves her aim to diversify outside of sport and deliver PR for clients across varied industries.

2017+
Emma continues to consult for varied clients both in and out of sport. Pete sets up as a consultant and secures impressive clients across sport. The pair begin to collaborate on projects to great effect and use a group of talented freelancers to boost resource when needed (a process which would inspire their business model for flip).

2023+
After 7 years of working together on projects and being each other’s sounding board, Emma & Pete decide to realise a dream they have both had, to start an agency, and flip is born. Built on successful work, industry expertise and strong relationships, flip’s mandate is to deliver creative, honest and results-driven PR, Communications and Content.
